Its founding team combines Roger Avary's creative and industry leadership, Gala Avary's audience and production expertise, and Jason Ferrell's product vision, architecture, and engineering.

Roger Avary

Co-founder & CEO

Academy Award-winning filmmaker and co-writer of Pulp Fiction, Roger Avary serves as CEO of General Cinema Dynamics. He brings decades of filmmaking experience, creative leadership, and trusted relationships with filmmakers, producers, and executives to the company's vision, strategy, programming, and partnerships.

Gala Avary

Co-founder & CMO

Gala Avary leads marketing for General Cinema Dynamics and Pulp Time. As Pulp Time's showrunner, she oversees its commentary features and featured watch parties, shaping programming, production, and the audience experience. A Harvard psychology graduate and a producer and host across The Video Archives Podcast and The Gala Show, she brings audience insight, editorial judgment, and production discipline to the company's brand and community.

Jason Ferrell

Co-founder, Executive Vice President & CTO

Jason Ferrell is a co-founder, Executive Vice President, and CTO of General Cinema Dynamics. He conceived, designed, and built the Pulp Time streaming platform and its Creator Channel Program, along with the Slate suite of AI filmmaking tools, including Draft for screenwriting, serving as their sole architect and engineer. A two-time venture-funded executive with experience at Millennium Management, OpenAI, and CS Disco, and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business, he brings product vision, architecture, engineering, and operating experience across technology, finance, and company building.
